H. 'Ice Cream'

This 2010 trade came to me as an added bonus when my trader discovered she'd made an error in her original shipment. She shipped me the correct one and to make the shipping worthwhile she included another cultivar, this one. Way to go, Myrle!

Here we have two 'Creams', 'Ice Cream' to the left and 'Wylde Green Cream' on the right.

While the 'Wylde Green Cream' shown above didn't make it through 2011, the 'Ice Cream' did, and in fine form too. You can see it flowered -and pods set- and by the end of August there were additional offsets in the pot. This variety has a reputation for rhizomatous growth, which should make it easy to divide. Perhaps I'll find out next spring.
