H. 'Mouse Trap'

An end-of-season clearance sale proved to be too tempting, 16 October 2011. There were 3 other ones that came home with me that day: 'Corkscrew', 'Alakazaam' and 'Frosted Mouse Ears'. The latter two were lost to crown rot in 2012 because of an improper draining potting mix.

Judging by the varying width of the medio variegation both on this plant as well as many of the others in the nursery, particularly when compared with the picture on the tag or the pictures on the Hosta Library, I'd venture to say this is one variety that is somewhat unstable. None the less, it's a welcome addition to our Mouse Ears family, along with 'Frosted Mouse Ears'.
